2026 Camper Application

We are accepting applications through March 31st!

Thank you for your interest in being a 2026 Camp Blaze Camper!  Our online application is available below.

Camp Blaze 2026 is open to those who are 16-19 years old the week of camp, and have not previously attended before.

Camp will be held at the Washington State Patrol Fire Training Academy in North Bend, Washington, beginning on Saturday, July 25, 2026, and ending with a graduation ceremony on Saturday, August 1, 2026. 

There is no cost to campers to attend Camp Blaze, except the cost of transportation to/from the Seattle area. All meals and lodging will be provided during the week.

Each camp, we select 24 Campers, including alternates. The application period opens on February 2nd, and will close on March 31st. Once our selection committee has reviewed all submissions, we will contact all applicants by April 30th to inform you of your status. Those who are selected as campers will receive more detailed information following selection.

Our application is not difficult, but does take some time to fill out, so we recommend that you review it first and then answer the questions to the best of your ability. Our evaluation of your application will be based on the content of your answers, not grammar, punctuation or spelling, and we are eager to read what you have to share with us! Finally, there are some things to consider before completing this application. The kitchen at the Fire Training Academy is contracted through a third party over which we have no control. We are able to offer vegetarian options, but cannot guarantee accommodations for other specialized dietary preferences or restrictions. Also, this is a strenuous program that will require a sports physical prior to final acceptance. And finally, we’d like to remind you that Camp Blaze is a full week program. You must commit to being in attendance each day.
